Summer of Success for Our Young Adults!

This month, we celebrate a very successful summer in the education department for the young adults in Wellroot’s Transitional Living Program! Education Coordinator, Mr. Naeem Callaway shares “I am so proud of their accomplishments this summer. All the youth worked hard all summer long!” We have 3 special graduations to celebrate on their recent achievements:
Congrats Trevaun! Last month Trevaun graduated from high school and now has steady employment at a restaurant. This winter he plans to attend college to continue his education. Congrats Trevaun for graduating high school and continuing your educational journey while working!
Congrats Faith! This summer, Faith completed her GED. Now, she has a fulltime job with Amazon and plans to attend a technical college to pursue her career in medical assisting. We are so proud of your Faith for your perseverance in completing your GED, finding a great job, and continuing your education! We know you will go far.
Congrats Taje! This summer, Taje completed her GED. She plans to attend college in the spring to pursue a degree in Psychology. We are so proud of you Taje for your strength and hard work to pass your GED and continuing your educational journey!
This summer, the residential program’s motto was “Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life.
