The Wellroot 2020 Christmas Wish List is now available!

Download:

Our wish list looks a little different this year because 2020 is a new kind of year. One thing hasn’t changed – Wellroot is committed to caring for children, teens, and families and providing them a wonderful Christmas experience. Thank you for partnering with us to give children and young adults a brighter Christmas!

If you plan to collect items for Wellroot Family Christmas, please contact us! It is helpful to know what we’ll receive and we can share with you our most pressing needs. We also need to update you on policies that are new this year – including when you can deliver collected items to our office.

All items must be delivered to our office by Wednesday, December 2. Families receive their Christmas gifts at a special event on December 12.

All items must be new and unwrapped (not in Christmas paper).

Email
Christmas@Wellroot.org to schedule your drop-off. Unscheduled drop-offs cannot be accepted.

Donate Uber or Lyft Gift Cards for Teens

Help Wellroot teens by donating Uber and Lyft gift cards. Wellroot’s Transitional and Independent Living Program supports teens as they move from foster care to adulthood by providing a home and guidance in this pivotal season of life. Public transportation schedules are restricted due to the pandemic and teens are facing long walks home from the bus stop after school and work, often after dark. Your gift of an Uber or Lyft gift card allows a teen to secure a safe ride home.

Christmas Meal Boxes for Families and Teens

Christmas can be a season of great joy as we celebrate the birth of the Christ with our those we love. But Christmas can also be a time of sorrow for those who don’t have extra money to buy presents or a nice Christmas meal. Holiday meal boxes are needed for families at risk of homelessness, kinship foster homes, and our teens transitioning from foster care. Come help the families and teens served by Wellroot by blessing them with a Christmas meal box. Along with food, you are giving teens and families the opportunity to build cooking skills and relationships.
