Leveraging curriculum from nationally and globally recognized providers, Wellroot equips professionals in our communities to better serve young people who have experienced or are currently experiencing trauma.

Building Collaborative & Resilient Communities

We believe that the best way to build bridges between public and private sectors is to create collaborative communities. Trauma-informed care, education around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and child sexual abuse prevention are the basis for systemic changes in these communities.

As we grow our educational offerings, our vision is to create a continuum of evidence-based learning experiences that help community members apply tactical skills while developing a shared understanding of trauma-informed care and strength-based language.

Resilient North Georgia is a coalition between Wellroot Family Services, Resilient Georgia and community partners in North Georgia. Our goal is to increase community understanding of adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and provide evidence-based services that support efforts to keep children out of the foster system, prevent trauma, advocate for prevention, and foster a resilient community. Resilient North Georgia builds bridges between public and private partners, offering trainings across 13 counties: Banks, Dawson, Franklin, Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White.
