Healthy Families Home Visitation
What is Wellroot’s Home Visitation Program?
Accredited by Healthy Families America®, Wellroot’s home visitation program offers a comprehensive parenting and family support experience. Our dedicated Family Support Specialists visit families with young children in their homes, fostering meaningful connections while empowering parents to nurture their child’s development, build strong family bonds, and create a foundation for healthy growth and thriving family life.
Family Support Specialists visit the home weekly during infancy and phase into monthly visits, focusing on attachment, developmental milestones, and family support. Thanks to the generous support of donors and community partners, this service is provided at no cost.
Am I Eligible?
Expectant mothers can be enrolled in the program before giving birth or up to three months after the baby’s arrival. We serve expectant parents and families with children ages birth to three who are uninsured or on Medicaid in Dawson, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinett, Hall, and Lumpkin counties.
