Wellroot Family Services Scholarship Program

The Wellroot Family Services Scholarship Program recognizes students for their community service, academic performance, and demonstrated leadership and participation in school. Awards ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 will be granted for the 2023-2024 academic year.
To apply, students must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2023-2024 academic year. For most awards, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). In addition to the above criteria, some of the funds within this program give preference to those who are, or have been, associated with or received assistance services from the Wellroot Family Services (formerly UMCH).

- Up to fifty-eight (58) awards ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 will be granted. Award amounts will vary based on the designated funds.
- Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
- Awards are limited to one award per student per year.
- Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study only.
