This is Home is a commemoration of all that home is to each of us – a reflection on the physical home that was the campus of The United Methodist Children’s Home, the thousands of foster homes that have been provided to children in need across Georgia, and most importantly, a celebration of the truest meaning of home – the feeling of belonging and being loved. The event will embrace the special memories and reflections of “family” that take place around your very own table with a home-style meal, surrounded by your chosen guests.
Join us as we honor the warm feelings of family traditions while hearing personal stories of hope and inspiration on how we together, have and can continue to provide home for Georgia’s children.
At Wellroot, we have been caring for kids and families for 150 years. There is nothing as precious and important to us than the safety and well-being of families. We are taking precautions from the CDC and the City of Atlanta COVID-19 guidelines and will promote social distancing and wearing masks while indoors. We are optimistic that we can be safe while celebrating Wellroot’s 150th anniversary, raising support to give more children, young adults, and families the benefits of a healthy, stable, and safe home.
