We’re here for every stage and season of parenthood.

Being a parent may be the best and most exciting job you’ll ever have. It may also be the hardest. It’s easy for parents raising children today to feel stressed, exhausted, and overwhelmed. Our parenting skills programs take the guesswork out of parenting and provide the tools for our clients to confidently manage their children’s behavior while taking care of themselves as parents.

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is a research-based parenting course that gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them confidently manage their children’s behavior, prevent developing problems, and build strong, healthy relationships.

Together Facing the Challenge

As part of our Foster Care Program Services, Wellroot uses Together Facing the Challenge (TFTC), a skills-based training program for foster parents who care for children with emotional or behavioral problems. The training program aims to help foster parents build and maintain supportive and involved relationships with children in their care while helping them learn and use effective behavior management and communication strategies.

Center for Parent and Teen Communication

Wellroot partners with Dr. Ken Ginsburg, author of Reaching Teens, to educate youth-serving individuals about trauma-informed support for children. Dr. Ginsburg is also the director of the Center for Parent and Teen Communication, which provides a variety of effective parenting tools.
