A Well-Rooted Legacy for Children

A trellis allows Wellrooted plants the structure and support to grow towards the sun and reach their fullest potential. Leaving a legacy of love allows Georgia’s children and families to grow to new heights, benefiting the children of Georgia for years to come.

Wellroot welcomes all donors who make planned gifts benefitting Wellroot Family Services to membership in the Trellis Society with recognition on a trellis in our offices and special invitations to events honoring Trellis Society Members.

A Beautiful Healing Place

Thanks to several legacy gifts, Wellroot was able to purchase a new home for our youth transitioning out of foster care. This stability, perhaps for the first time in their lives, serves as a launching point for the next phase of their healing, life skills education, and future successful independence.

Ways to Leave a Legacy of Love for Children and Families in Georgia

  • A Bequest in a will is the most common planned gift made. To make a gift by will, a donor would simply add the following language to his or her will:
    • I hereby give, devise, and bequeath the sum of $______________ [or I give, devise, and bequeath ______% of my adjusted gross estate] to The United Methodist Children’s Home of the North Georgia Conference, Inc. doing business as Wellroot Family Services (EIN 58-0632081), a 501(c) (3) organization, located in Tucker, Georgia.
  • A Beneficiary Designation is a simple way to designate Wellroot as a beneficiary of unused retirement, pension, investment, donor advised fund, bank account or your life insurance policy.
  • Appreciated Securities, including stocks or bonds, are an easy and tax-effective donation for you to support children and families
